64 pages, well illustrated (some in color), pictorial wrappers, 8-1/2 by 11 inches. From the foreword: "The Delaware Art Museum is privileged to present this large and varied exhibition of the work of Charles Parks, the first major exhibition of sculpture to be shown in the newly renovated galleries." The large number and the varied sizes of the works Mr. Parks has consented to exhibit, along with a greater flexibility of installation, has enabled us to utilize the existing space to the best possible advantage." From his website: "Charles Parks was born in Virginia and moved to Delaware as a young boy. He was educated at the University of Delaware and the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts in Philadelphia. Over the course of his prolific and continuing career, he has served on the president's Advisory Committee on the Fine Arts for the John F. Kennedy Center in Washington, DC and was the Trustee of the Delaware Art Museum. He is a past President of the National Sculpture Society and is an Academician in the National Academy of Design in New York City. He is also a Trustee at Brookgreen Gardens in South Carolina, the largest outdoor collection of American Classical sculpture, and five of his major works have been added to their permanent collection."
